I live in the SW Fort Worth area below Benbrook Lake. (Route-377 & Hwy-1187 area).
My Passion & Purpose is to help my neighbors become prepared for any emergency that may
come upon them or our local community. This is when we come together to assist each other.
Radio Communications are important and needed during emergencies – I always suggest you getting a HAM RADIO “Amateur Technician” License and will assist anyone in reaching that goal. I have personally taught small groups (Local CERT teams) and neighbors how to purchase and use these radios and how to take the test. or at a minimum use FRS or GMRS radios for such emergency communications when Cell phones may not work or be overloaded due to current events.
PulsePoint.Org is an organization that helps saves lives by getting the closest CPR trained person to the scene of someone having a Heart Attack. HELP US GET THIS APP IN OUR AREA – TARRANT COUNTY TX.

NEIGHBORS HELP recommends going to a free local CERT class to get training in First Aid, learning what to do in an emergency and how to help others, if the need arises.
It could take up to 3-4 Days for the Red Cross or FEMA to be dispatched to your Area in an Emergency, So GET PREPARED to be self-sufficient for at least that long.
As Neighbors, we are to closest resource for assistance and help. You and I both can help each other, we each have a needed skill that makes things easier.
